• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. • More than 5 years of purchasing working experience and knowledge in a machining and precision part manufacturing/engineering industry. • Knowledge and understanding of machine parts drawings and sketches. • Strong knowledge in parts fabrication (especially CNC and sheet metal parts…), able to do analysis and provide solution to solve technical problem. • Able to cope with fast pace environment and has good following up skill, planning and reporting skills as well costing skill. • Able to identify areas of improvement and to develop and implement process improvements from time to time. • Able to take good care of customers as well as suppliers (Communication, Quotation, QCDS and etc). • Result driven, independent and resourceful with dynamic personality, negotiations and persuasion skills. • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, strong leadership and result oriented. • Computer literate and able to lead a team employees from store to buyers. • Experience in using SQL system will be an added advantage. • Able to converse in Mandarin or Japanese is an added advantage.
